IT Roadmap

Why have an IT Roadmap? Your organisation needs some sort of documented guidance on where they are going to for technology, and how to get there.

Assuming you have requested one, once we have done an IT audit, we will start work on your roadmap. This will highlight areas of concern, starting off with a 2-page document for your board showing a background, high-level summary, high-level next steps, and a conclusion.

Following this will be the actual IT Roadmap, broken down into three areas and sorted by priority:

  1. Reason
  2. Solution
  3. Costs

There may also be some notes attached to each highlighted issue found. The end of the IT Roadmap may contain appendices with notes from the IT review, results of staff interviews, and even some suggestions around future infrastructure changes or other system changes that may not be covered.
